Can the Rugs Be Used Outdoors?
My rugs are for indoor use and cannot stay out in the rain. So please don’t use them outside.
What Material do you use for your rugs?
I start with canvas. The paints I use are either Old Village paint®, or different brands of milk paint. They both provide me with an array of stunning colors to work with.
How Can I Keep my canvas rug in place?
Many people find that they don’t need to put anything at all under their rug to keep it in place. Some people put a non-slip rug pad under them, but sometimes the rug can take on the pad pattern. The method I think that works the best would be to place a small amount of mounting putty under the corners of the rug.
HOw Do I clean My Canvas Rug?
You can wash with a damp cloth. If something sticky gets on your rug, remove using Goo Gone®. Clean as you would any wooden floor that’s protected with polyurethane. No harsh chemicals please.
Why Would I Want to Buy a Canvas Rug Instead of another type of Rug?
There are many reasons, first, these rugs can be made in any shape, size, color or design. Second, they are free of chemicals, pet dander, and dirt. Third, they are so much easier to keep clean than a regular rug. Forth, they are much more durable than a regular rug, they can take a beating.
Can I Put this Rug Over A Brick or Stone Floor?
Yes, you can. The key to keeping the rug from taking on the stone or brick pattern would be to make sure you have a flat surface underneath. Most people put either newspaper or any type of paper cardboard underneath to ensure the rug doesn't wear incorrectly.
how should I store my rug?
You NEVER want to fold a canvas rug. Once you do that the crease will NEVER come out. Roll the rug up like you do with any rug, pattern side out, then put it in a place where you can leave it standing upright. Tie the rug together making sure the ends don’t fold over.
